Hanoi student crowned Miss ITgo
17:00 22/03/2009 Nguyen Van Ha, a 2nd year student at Hanoi Open University, became the first Miss ITgo in the contest’s final night in Hanoi on March 20.

The title Mister ITgo was presented to Pham Duc Binh, a 2nd year student at the Hanoi Polytechnic University.
Some other titles were also granted, including Miss Ao Dai ITgo Vietnam to Dang Mai Ngan, Best Body to Pham Mai Anh, Miss Talent to Phi Thi Thuy Linh, Miss Photogenic to Bui Thi Kim Hanh, Miss IT Mai Thi Bao Tram and Mister IT.
The organising board presented 29 scholarships to contestants who entered the final round, worth VND10 million/scholarship.
On the final night, 29 contestants, 22 female and 7 male, wore ao dai and night gowns. However, there was no interview round like the organisers announced.
The contest was launched last November. One hundred contestants were chosen for the preliminary round. The first round took place in Hanoi and HCM City from March 6-10. From March 12-17, contestants competed for sub-prizes. Total prizes were over VND1.1 billion, mainly online scholarships.
The contest, co-organised by Youth Magazine and SARA Group, aims to honour the beauty and minds of Vietnamese women, aged 16-27, who work in the IT sector or study about IT.
