Ho Chi Minh City – Siem Reap bus service kicks off
14:38 04/03/2009 ![]() Operated by Vietnamese transport company Mai Linh, the bus will go through Cambodian capital Phnom Penh, with a one-way ticket costing US$15 in the first month. The fare will go up to $18 later. Siem Reap is world famous for the Angkor Wat, an ancient Hindu complex built by king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century to act as a temple and capital city. The bus – a 16-seat Mercedes Sprinter or 30-seat Huyndai County or 45-seat Aero Space, according to the operator – departs at 7:00am daily at both cities.
